Is polyester suitable for summer?

A fabric's suitability for any environment is shaped by its construction, weight and composition rather than the fibre alone. The polyester we sourced is extremely lightweight, with an airy construction that allows it to sit lightly against the body and move with ease. Combined with its subtle texture and fluid drape, this Piha will accompany you well during the warmer days.

Does this feel like typical polyester?

Constructed in a loosely woven plain weave, the fabric carries a character more reminiscent of linen than traditional polyester. It has a soft hand, subtle texture and fluid drape, with a lightweight construction that allows the cloth to move naturally with the body. Rather than the flat, technical appearance often associated with synthetic fabrics, the surface has a quiet depth and natural ease.

How does "slightly oversized" fit?

Piha has a slightly oversized silhouette designed to feel relaxed without becoming excessive. It's intentionally cut with ease around the chest, underarms, and hips, allowing the cloth to fall naturally on the body. The Cuban collar and straight hem finish help maintain a clean, considered shape.

How should oversized fit shirts be styled?
